2004 TEPR awards for technology announced

The 5th Annual TEPR Awards recognized 24 outstanding healthcare information system solutions in eight categories during the opening session of the 20th annual TEPR Conference in Fort Lauderdale, Florida on Wednesday.

The TEPR Awards selection process had two phases. The first phase took place during February and March 2004, when an independent panel of judges reviewed 88 TEPR Award applications, scored each entry, and selected the top three finalists for each category. The finalists were announced on April 7th. The second phase of the TEPR Awards selection process took place on Monday, May 17th, when the finalists presented/demonstrated their solutions to the panel of independent judges. First, Second and Third Honors were then determined in each category.

During the opening session of the TEPR Conference, the lead TEPR Award judge, Dr. Ross Martin of Pfizer, announced the names of the First, Second and Third Honors for each category listed below:
