
Healthcare IT News polled its readers to find out if they would access and manage their patients’ medical records through smartphone apps.
About two-thirds (66 percent) of respondents indicated they would use a smartphone app to access and manage their patients’ medical records.
The remaining 34 percent of respondents would not use apps to access patient data.
Accessing patient records through a smartphone app is a convenient way for busy providers to manage the details of their patients’ care. For some, however, smartphones may not be the ideal way to access the information. Many prefer easier-to-use hardware like tablets.
