Healthcare is in the process of transforming and medical home is one of the key transformation initiatives. The Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) is a new way of delivering primary care that is comprehensive in nature, personalized in delivery and coordinated through a physician-led extended care team.

Oklahoma University is in the process of transforming the entire university to a medical home model of care. With this transformation, Oklahoma University will be the first "medical home" university health system in the U.S. Our two distinguished speakers are spearheading this transformation. They will discuss how the university came to the decision to move to a medical home model of care, as well as OU's plans to establish itself as a center of research excellence for the medical home.
