The healthcare market is considered resistant to economic recession, but that doesn't mean it's any easier to hire and keep good workers when dollars are in short supply. Hospitals and clinics often outsource business processes such as clinical documentation and billing and revenue cycle, while working to retain care professionals and other core staff. Despite recent economic downturn, healthcare remains one of the fastest-growing job sectors in the United States.

For over twenty years my cousin had a successful career in the electronics industry, which she transitioned into after serving in the military. About six years ago she was laid off.
