Workforce Management

The healthcare market is considered resistant to economic recession, but that doesn't mean it's any easier to hire and keep good workers when dollars are in short supply. Hospitals and clinics often outsource business processes such as clinical documentation and billing and revenue cycle, while working to retain care professionals and other core staff. Despite recent economic downturn, healthcare remains one of the fastest-growing job sectors in the United States.

Healthcare insurer UnitedHealth Group has awarded On Lok Lifeways a $897,240 grant to help strengthen its health information technology system and delivery of care to San Francisco Bay area seniors through EMR initiatives. The grant is part of $5.2 million UnitedHealthcare awarded to nine healthcare organizations.
