Workforce Management

The healthcare market is considered resistant to economic recession, but that doesn't mean it's any easier to hire and keep good workers when dollars are in short supply. Hospitals and clinics often outsource business processes such as clinical documentation and billing and revenue cycle, while working to retain care professionals and other core staff. Despite recent economic downturn, healthcare remains one of the fastest-growing job sectors in the United States.

This white paper describes the risks associated with the lack of a core HIT strategy; identifies HIT strategies that can help manage the complex clinical documentation challenges associated with ICD-10, RAC and ACOs; and provides an overview of existing and emerging technologies that have significant impact on addressing these challenges.
