Mobile computing encompasses solutions for mobile devices that allow physicians to manage clinical, financial and administrative information at the point of care. Smartphones, cart computers, iPads and other tablets, ruggedized mobile clinical assistants (MCAs) and laptops are examples of mobile devices commonly used in a clinical setting.
