The Informatics Corporation of America, based in Nashville, Tenn., has announced an alliance with Companion Data Services, LLC of Columbia, S.C. to integrate ICA's CareAlign solution with CDS' data center to create a health information exchange solution.

Siemens Healthcare, based in Malvern, Pa., has announced that UMass Memorial Health Care in Worcester, Mass., and the Bethesda Healthcare System in south Florida have signed multi-year contracts for the Soarian healthcare information system. The seven-year deal with UMass Memorial includes implementing Soarian Clinicals, Soarian Financials and Soarian Quality Measures. The extension of a 25-year agreement with Bethesda includes migration to Soarian Clinicals, Soarian Critical Care, Soarian Emergency Department, Patient Identification Check and Soarian Quality Measures.

McKesson, based in Atlanta, has announced that Good Samaritan Hospital of Kearney, Neb., has successfully implemented the Horizon Medical Imaging picture archiving and communications solution (PACS). Also, the company has announced that Capital Region Health Care of Concord, N.H., a longtime user of McKesson's Horizon Clinicals solutions, will implement the company's Horizon Enterprise Revenue Management solution.

Opus Healthcare Solutions, Inc.
, of Austin, Texas, has announced that the Certification Commission for Healthcare Information Technology (CCHIT) has pre-market conditionally certified OpusClinicalSuite version 2.3 as certified for 2008 inpatient EHRs.

The Axolotl Corporation of San Jose, Calif., has announced that Physicians Medical Group of Santa Cruz County, a founding member of the Santa Cruz Health Information Exchange, has completed a successful demonstration of clinical health information exchange with multiple communities using Axolotl's Elysium Exchange.

Orion Health of Santa Monica, Calif., has announced that the Iowa Health System has selected the Rhapsody Integration Engine to replace its current solution and facilitate communication among its system of 14 hospitals in seven large communities, hospitals in 14 rural communities and group practices of physicians and clinics in 71 communities.

GE Healthcare
, based in Barrington, Ill., and InterComponentWare, Inc., a global e-health provider with offices in Wayne, Pa., have announced an agreement to integrate and co-develop their health information exchange (HIE) solutions.

The Eclipsys Corporation
of Atlanta has announced that NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital has successfully migrated a significant portion of its enterprise-wide IT server processing and storage infrastructure to Eclipsys  Remote Hosting Services.

Perot Systems of Plano, Texas, has announced that its Fairfax, Va.-based Government Services Business Unit has won the re-compete for the performance-based contract with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, valued at more than $119 million. Perot will provide infrastructure support to the CDC's Information Technology Services Office.

The SCIOinspire Corp.
, a Hartford-based provider of analytics-based cost-management services for health plans, has launched MY COB, a software application designed to allow health plans to identify and focus on accurate and timely payment of COB claims.

Concerro, Inc., a San Diego-based developer of enterprise-wide open shift and workforce management software, has acquired all of the products assets and related intellectual property of the PortBlue Corporation's CommandAware hospital incident management line of business.

Optimum Lightpath
, a Jericho, N.Y.-based developer of Ethernet-based communications solutions for New York metropolitan-are businesses, has announced that Morningside House, a Bronx-based nursing home facility, has selected the company as its telecommunications provider.

The MRO Corp.
, a King of Prussia, Pa.-based developer of shared-service, release-of-information and audit tracking systems, has announced that the Wellspan Health System, with more than 40 locations in Pennsylvania and Maryland, and the Western Maryland Health System will implement the company's Audit Tracker Online.

ClaimTrust, based in Murfreesboro, Tenn., has announced that Quincy Medical Center, a 196-bed acute care community-teaching hospital in Quincy, Mass., has improved cash flow and net revenue using the company's InSight Compliance.

TeleTracking
, based in Pittsburgh, has released the Bed Management Suite, powered by TeleTracking XT, as the latest component of its Patient Flow 2.0 platform.

Navicure, an Atlanta-based Internet medical claims clearinghouse for physician practices, has announced that The Children's Hospital in Denver will use the company as an exclusive clearinghouse partner for its PedsConnect program.
