HealthPort, based in Alpharetta, Ga., has announced that Resurrection Health Care of Chicago has signed an agreement to implement the company's RACPro Basic software, designed to help hospitals with access to records and activity reports needed for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services' Recovery Audit Contractor initiative.

Greenway Medical Technologies, based in Carrollton, Ga., has adopted the IQpath thin client and ASP device solution from the Gardena, Calif.-based Midmark Corporation, thus enabling Midmark's IQecg and IQspiro solutions to operate seamlessly in thin client and ASP EHR/EMR environments.

Connectyx Technologies Holdings Group, Inc.
, based in Palm City, Fla., has announced plans to expand the market presence of its MedFlash electronic personal health record (e-PHR) through expanded distribution channels and targeted acquisitions. In addition, company officials said MedFlash plans to integrate with the Google Health and Microsoft HealthVault platforms through the upcoming release of the MedSync synchronization tool.

Kryptiq, based in Portland, Ore., has announced that the National Aeronautics and Space Administration's (NASA) Space Medicine Division is using the company's Connect IQ suite to bring online collaboration to its healthcare practitioners.

GE Healthcare, based in Waukesha, Wis., has announced that Beloit Memorial Hospital in Beloit, Wis., has selected the Optima XR640 digital radiographic system for its expanded emergency department. In addition, the company has announced a partnership with Medicalis to integrate the company's Clinical decision Support for Diagnostic Imaging (CDS-DI) solution with GE's Centricity Imaging IT and EMR products.

IBM has unveiled Masking Gateway for Enterprises (Magen), proof-of-concept data masking technology designed to protect sensitive data used in industries such as healthcare without the need to modify existing applications.

Allscripts-Misys Healthcare Solutions of Chicago has announced that it is working with the American Medical Association to offer physicians an AMA-branded electronic prescribing tool based on Allscripts' e-prescribing technology.

McKesson has announced that Medical Center Hospital in Odessa, Texas, has selected the company's computerized physician order entry (CPOE) and other clinical solutions and services to help continue its drive toward the adoption of electronic health records.

The Intel Corporation of Santa Clara, Calif., has announced additional connectivity options and new customers for the Intel Health Guide. The product now offers a variety of connectivity options and is being implemented by Providence Life Services, Spectrum Medical and  ProActive Healthcare.

ExpressMD has announced that SunTech Medical's clinical-grade blood pressure technology will be included in the company's Electronic House Call remote patient monitoring device for telemedicine.

Premier Heart, LLC, based in Port Washington, N.Y., has announced that the CPT Editorial Panel of the American Medical Association has granted a CPT Category III code to its Multifunction CardioGram (MCG) system, an Internet-based, non-invasive, stress-, radiation- and drug-free computational electrophysiologic system used for interactive online diagnosis.

The Leostream Corporation, a Waltham, Mass.-based developer of virtual hosted desktop software, has released Connection Broker 6.1, designed to simplify the management of virtual desktop infrastructure.

CareTech Solutions, Inc., of Troy, Mich., has signed an agreement to provide Web services, including content management and secure hosting, to North Carolina-based Novant Health's ten hospital Web sites. The contract also calls for redevelopment of Novant's corporate Web site, physician portals and physician practice Web sites.

VirtualHealth Technologies, Inc.
, of Lexington, Ky., has announced that its subsidiary, Secure eHealth, LLC, has entered into a preliminary agreement to allow DRM Security of Fort Worth, Texas, to license the company's CIFRA secure messaging and data delivery platform to physician groups, regional health organizations and health information exchanges. CIFRA will also become an imbedded component in Medical Office Software's soon-to-be-announced practice management and electronic health record solution.

iGuard.org, a Princeton, N.J.-based medication monitoring service for consumers, has announced an agreement to integrate with Microsoft's HealthVault platform.

Pharmacy OneSource, Inc., of Bellevue, Wash., has announced that The Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, N.J., has adopted the company's Sentri7 electronic surveillance software.

Imprivata, a Lexington, Mass.-based developer of employee access management solutions, has announced that Glencoe Regional Health Services, a Minnesota-based not-for-profit healthcare system, has implemented the Imprivata OneSign Platform.
