CynergisTek announced that David Holtzman will join its compliance services executive team as vice president of privacy and security. He most recently served as senior health IT and privacy advisor at the Department of Health & Human Services, Office for Civil Rights.
Strategic Healthcare Programs named Alex Kormushoff as its president. Before joining the company, he served as global growth and strategy leader and global public service leader for Accenture Analytics.
CHE Trinity Health named Richard Gilfillan, MD, as new chief executive officer. Gilfillan is the former director of the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation, where he was in charge of the Obama administration's efforts to test new healthcare delivery models.
AMC Health named four new team members: Hon S. Pak, MD, chief medical information officer; J. Mark McConnell, senior vice president sales;
Joanne Russell, RN, vice president, clinical operations; and Frank Tucker, chief information officer consultant.
Logic PD appointed Bill Betten as vice president of business solutions of their medical/life sciences team. Prior to joining the company, he worked at TechInsights as a medical technology director.
