CANTON, MA – One Beacon Professional Partners, a member of the OneBeacon Insurance Group, is collaborating with Medversant Technologies to provide clients with an electronic credentialing verification and management system.
One Beacon, based in Canton, Mass., and Medversant, headquartered in Los Angeles, have developed AutoVerifi, a solution designed to contiuously validate, store and retrieve records of medical providers. The technology is expected to simplify the credentialing process by storing medical information in a single location.
"AutoVerifi is a unique solution to help our customers enhance their business, save on administrative costs and improve their liability risk,” said Susan Angelo, senior vice president for One Beacon's managed care business. “By enabling them to verify and update credentialing information continuously, customers know about potential problems immediately."
One Beacon officials said AutoVerifi also updates and verifies information on an ongoing basis, allowing health plans to streamline credentialing and provider data management processes.
"One Beacon Professional Partners understands the exposures managed care organizations can face as a result of outdated or inaccurate data,” said Matt Haddad, Medversant's CEO. “Our alliance will improve these risks for their policyholders and help them realize dramatic cost savings."
