LONDON – Employees of nine National Health Service trusts in the United Kingdom will begin using learning management systems supplied by Ikonami.
Learning management IT is used for staff training, reporting and organizational improvements to efficiency and service provision. Additionally, adherence to compliance and standards can be supported by learning management systems. Ikonami noted in a press release the importance of organizational compliance within the NHS, which operates in a cash-constrained, efficiency-oriented and compliance-driven environment.
The AT-Learning system from Ikonami will be implemented at Northamptonshire NHS, NHS Southwark, Solihull NHS Care Trust, Peterborough and Stamford Hospitals, Northumbria Healthcare NHS Trust, Derby Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Central and North West London NHS, Sandwell Mental Health and Social Care NHS, and NHS Shetland.
"AT-Learning helps organizations to generate a return on investment by helping to reduce costs, and create visibility and accountability for compliance and improved patient care," said Kubair Shirazee, CEO of Ikonami. "We are delighted to welcome these NHS Trusts into the AT-Learning user community and look forward to meeting their learning management needs for many years to come."
