ON THE MOVE: March 2009

Andrea Pennington has joined Logical Images, Inc., as chief medical officer. Tom Hogenkamp has been named Cumberland Consulting Group's fifth partner. RFID Global Solution, Inc., has named former IBM executive Diana Hage as chief executive officer. MEDIAN Technologies has appointed Oran Muduroglu to its board of directors. Muduroglu will hold the position of strategic advisor for the company. SurModics, Inc. has elected Robert C. Buhrmaster chairman of the board of directors. Buhrmaster succeeds Kendrick B. Melrose, who is retiring from the company's board of directors. Total Medical Solutions has promoted Kevin T. Glennon to executive director of clinical services. Connextions Inc. has selected Steven G. Auerbach for the position of president. Auerbach will have overall management  -  including of strategy development, client services, operations and sales  -  for the company's sites in Florida, North Carolina and Indiana and its 2,500 employees. Milestone Venture Partners, an early-stage venture capital firm, has added its fourth general partner, F. Morgan Rodd, a 10-year veteran of the venture capital industry. Lee Perla has joined Avizent and will serve as senior vice president and chief information officer. SpringSource has appointed Shaun Connolly as vice president of product management. Raydiance Corporation has appointed William R. Beyer to its executive team as chief financial officer. MDCI has promoted the following staff to its clinical services group: Kristine Bello has been promoted from senior clinical project manager to associate director of clinical project management; Karin E. Graefe has been promoted from senior clinical data manager to associate director of clinical data management; and Laiju Zhang has been promoted to senior manager of biostatistics and SAS. Phase Forward Inc. revealed that Rodger Weismann will retire as chief financial officer of the company effective on June 1. Christopher Menard, currently Phase Forward's vice president of finance, will succeed Weismann as CFO. Weismann will serve in a part-time capacity as adviser to the CEO in a variety of areas, including strategic planning and corporate development. Coastal Administrative Services, LLC has named David Rubenstein its president and chief executive officer. Compugen Ltd. has appointed Dov Hershberg as chairman of the board, succeeding Martin Gerstel, who, as of the beginning of this year, was appointed president and chief executive officer. Tri-Isthmus Group, Inc. has appointed Donald Parkerson as the company's chief financial officer. The company also made the addition of Rod Rivera to its advisory board.
