Michael Murphy has been named president and general manager of Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield in Nevada. The Certification Commission for Healthcare Information Technology recently named new trustees. UK-based clinical technology company ClinPhone has opened new offices in Melbourne, Australia. Computer Sciences Corp. named Deward Watts vice president and managing partner of its Global Health Solutions practice. The HIMSS Electronic Health Record Vendors Association elected Medinotes CEO Donald Schoen chairman of the board and GE Healthcare executive Hugh Zettel co-chairman. Bethesda, Md.-based GetWellNetwork named Jim Condon chief operating and financial officer, Shendan Grove senior vice president of engineering and Fred Hartman director of engineering. Health Level Seven elected as chairman Ed Hammond, professor emeritus and adjunct professor at Duke University. The HL7 board also elected Charles Meyer chairman, Bill Braithwaite, MD, treasurer, Hans Buitendijk, Linda Fischetti, RN, and Klaus Veil directors at large, Kai Heitmann, MD, international representative and John Quinn technical chairman. Paul H. Keckley joined the Deloitte Center for Health Solutions as executive director. He most recently served as executive director of the Vanderbilt Center for Evidence-based Medicine. Tom Ridge, former secretary of Homeland Security, has accepted a consulting role with Deloitte & Touche USA. Linda Kosnik, former CNO of Overlook Hospital in Summit, N.J, joins Vistaar Healthcare Solutions as vice president of clinical services. Steven L. Coulter, MD, president of the government business and emerging markets division of BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, joined URAC’s board of directors. The WEDI board of directors elected Jamie Ferguson vice chair of planning and operations, Lee Ann Stember vice chair of marketing and communications and Michael Ubl vice chair of programs and services. Susan L. Lewis has joined IncentOne as senior vice president, health and productivity solutions. IntelliDOT Corp. named four new members to its advisory board: David Bates, MD, chief of the Division of General Internal Medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Massachusetts; Robert Wachter, MD, professor of medicine at the University of California, San Francisco; Kenneth N.
