Salt Lake City-based Claredi selected Lee Barrett as CEO. Barrett brings more than 25 years of experience in the payer marketplace. Philips Medical Systems, a division of Royal Philips Electronics, appointed Brent Shafer as executive vice president and CEO, sales and service region for North America. Philips also appointed Thomas Bruner as managing director of Philips Dictation Systems. Pam Wirth moved from her position as CIO of Susquehanna Health System to join Siemens Health Care Solutions. WellPoint appointed Wayne S. DeVeydt senior vice president and chief accounting officer. Aliso Viejo, Calif.-based Patient Care Technology Systems named Tony Marsico CEO. UK-based Craneware appointed Derek Morkel as CEO of U.S, operations. DeepNines Technologies has opened a West Coast headquarters in San Jose, Calif. Alan Colberg, managing director of the Atlanta office of Bain & Co., has joined the advisory board at Ingenious Med in Atlanta. EMRConsultant named Ursula Pennell as Systems Implementation Specialist – a newly created position. Richmond, Va.-based Macro Doctor, which specializes in Web-based medical billing, opened an office in Scottsdale, Ariz. Loki Management Systems named Victor Holysh to the new position of chief operating officer. MedVentive hired R. Scott Harper as vice president of sales and Kevin Rhodes as director of product development.
