Less than a year ago, McKesson acquired US Oncology with an eye toward its customer offerings. Through integrated IT offerings, including iKnowMed, a Web-based oncology EHR, and the Lynx Mobile drug inventory management system, clinical support expertise, one of the nation’s largest cancer research networks and deep understanding of community care, officials says McKesson Specialty Health will help its customers advance the science, quality and efficiency of patient care.
McKesson Specialty Health provides solutions across multiple specialties. From oncology and rheumatology to gastroenterology, nephrology and urology, the company is committed to strengthening community practices.
McKesson Specialty Health Solutions for Oncology offers community oncology practices the choice, flexibility and ability to engage with and benefit from a wide variety of innovative clinical, technology and business capabilities. By engaging with McKesson Specialty Health’s Solutions for Oncology through either the expanded Onmark Select Program or The US Oncology Network, providers are empowered to advance the science and delivery of patient care in the way that best suits the needs of each individual practice, officials say.
