It’s always fun to watch people with promise – and the Healthcare IT News staff figured no one would know better than the publication’s editorial board – whose members themselves are movers and shakers - who we might all keep tabs on in 2008.
We were right. Board members came up with some familiar names – and also some not so familiar, but just as intriguing and full of possibilities for healthcare information technology.
John Glaser, senior vice president and CIO of Partners HealthCare System in Boston says he will be watching Darren Dworkin, CIO at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
“He’s going to be a great CIO,” Glaser said.
Dworkin joined Cedars Sinai in January 2006 after a five-year stint as chief technology office at Boston Medical Center. Cedars Sinai is one of the largest nonprofit hospitals in the Western United States and considered one of the most wired in the country.
