MEMPHIS, TN – Campbell Clinic, a medical practice of 36 physicians and 32 licensed rehabilitation specialists is turning its paper charts to digital format. According to clinic executives, the move will make it easier to exchange data between its locations in in Memphis, Germantown and Collierville, Tenn., and Southaven, Miss.

Campbell Clinic is recognized as a leader in sports medicine, pediatric orthopaedics, joint replacement, physical medicine and rehabilitation, orthopaedic oncology and surgery of the hand, hip, foot, knee, shoulder and spine."It is essential that all our providers have ready access to patient information at any one of our offices or at our surgery center," explained James H. Beaty, M.D., Chief of Staff at the clinic.

Campbell Clinic tapped Montvale, N.J. SRS Software to implement the SRS Freedom Chart Manager.

"SRS met that criterion with a digitized solution that was cost effective, user friendly and easy to implement," Beaty said.

"We can streamline our practice with a quick transition to computerized patient records using cutting-edge barcode technology and without compromising the way we practice medicine."

Campbell Clinic CEO John M. Vines said the clinic selected the SRS technology for ease of use and for its compatibility with the clinic's processesFreedom Chart Manager, SRS' flagship product, is a Microsoft Windows-based document imaging platform which captures, converts and electronically files print-based information from patient encounters, such as physician handwritten or transcribed notes.
