WEYMOUTH, MA – Beacon Partners, a healthcare management consulting firm, has acquired Healthcare Innovative Solutions, a Seville, Ohio-based consulting firm which offers customized products and services for clinical system implementations and workflow transformation to hospitals.
Executives say that Healthcare Innovative Solutions' substantial Siemens experience will help expand Beacon Partners’ current vendor expertise.

“Healthcare Innovative Solutions is a terrific complement to our service offering and will broaden our overall scope by providing clients an increased CPOE/EHR capability,” said Ralph P. Fargnoli, Jr., president and CEO of Beacon Partners. “Healthcare organizations are turning to us now more than ever to assist them with Meaningful Use requirements and overall IT adoption, and consequently, CPOE and EHR implementation are both crucial to their success."
He added that "the timing was right to add Siemens implementation and optimization expertise and to expand our overall clinical advancement capabilities.”

The acquisition will increase both Beacon Partners’ revenue and employee base by 15 percent, say officials. As both companies are privately held, specific terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
