The demand for all types of skill sets in health IT and all levels of experience has never been greater. So, now is the time to explore the opportunities in a health IT career path. Not only will participants at this Virtual Career Fair be able to search for employment opportunities and post open positions, but also will have the opportunity to listen to nationally recognized speakers on the various nuances of a health IT career path. Here’s the educational line up of speakers for the VCF scheduled on May 16, 2012.
First off – our keynote, Harry Greenspun, MD, FHIMSS. Dr. Greenspun is the senior advisor for health care transformation and technology at the Deloitte Center for Health Solutions (DCHS). His keynote is entitled: Health IT Consulting Services: Is This a Career Choice for You? JoAnn’s topic will engage participants on the concept: Developing Your Health IT Skill Sets: Guidelines from a Seasoned Health IT Professional. This lecture promises to be very insightful and practical because JoAnn oversees all of the educational aspects at HIMSS and has her fingers on the pulse of what is needed in health IT education today.
