HIMSS 2013 Annual Conference Gearing Up!
Education is the cornerstone of advancing a career and recognized to be very important for individuals as an ongoing process for skill development, advancement and expertise. More and more technologies are being introduced into the healthcare environment supporting quality healthcare delivery and HIMSS continues to strive to create programs and educational environments to support the educational understanding of these healthcare enablers such as programs like mHIMSS.
The HIMSS Annual Conference is a HIMSS event in support of the various educational initiatives being implemented in healthcare today. It is also a platform to connect those attending the event with nationally and internationally recognized subject matter experts engaged in these healthcare initiatives. This year’s conference will be no exception. HIMSS Annual Conference 2013, being held in New Orleans, continues to be energized with speakers, presentations and opportunities for career growth. Topol, West Endowed Chair of Innovative Medicine, Scripps Health and Professor of Genomics, The Scripps Research Institute (March 5, 2013, 8:30 AM - 9:30 AM), President Bill Clinton Founder of The William J. Clinton Foundation, 42nd President of the United States of America (March 6, 2013, 1:00 PM - 2:15 PM), as well as James Carville political consultant and Karl Rove Fox News Contributor & Wall Street Journal Columnist, Former Deputy Chief of Staff and Senior Advisor to President Bush (March 7, 2013, 12:30 PM - 2:00 PM). During this particular highly anticipated closing keynote, James Carville and Karl Rove will debate politics, economics, healthcare reform and other key initiatives affecting the country.
The variety of speakers being presented at Annual Conference 2013 is diverse and impactful for an optimal understanding of the educational nuances in healthcare today. All of the speakers at Annual Conference 2013 will address the various aspects of the Affordable Care Act, various health insurance reformation and best practices and quality healthcare for all.
